The astute reader will notice that the March progress report comes with about half of April already behind us. Funny how time slips away.
March was actually a rather decent month as far as viewing time was concerned. With 31 days and 62 episodes watched it doesn't take a math wizard to figure out that I averaged two episodes a day. I wish I could say April was going so well but things are picking up on that front too.
The total tally up through the end of March was 169 episodes. Of that, Voyager continues to rank at the top, with 81 episodes down. I've gone through 55 TOS episodes thus far, which means - if I've got my story straight - that there are only 24 left. The Enterprise tally stands at 33 as of the end of March.
There were a number of noteworthy episodes in March, since I spent much of the month working through the TOS first season. One of the best, for me, was The Doomsday Machine, closely followed by Amok Time. Other TOS standouts this time around, Operation: Annihilate, Tomorrow Is Yesterday, Court Martial, A Taste Of Armageddon and Journey To Babel. Of the Enterprise episodes, only Fortunate Son was worth mentioning and nothing really stood from that pack of 32 Voyager episodes. As for duds, not too much to report really, just The Alternative Factor (TOS) and Two Days And Two Nights (Enterprise).
Still no movies under my belt yet, but I've got The Voyage Home and Insurrection set up to tape in the very near future.
On the publicity front, thanks to SF Crowsnest for giving me a mention. Same to Marc Wade at the Roddenberry Productions site and John Scalzi, who upped my traffic considerably just by including the site in his Whateverettes sidebar.

My Star Trek Months - April, May, June
The total episode tally, through the end of June, is 294. Given that this also marks the halfway point and given that there are about 730 episodes in all, that puts me well behind the curve. Maintaining this pace until the end of the year will leave me about 150 episodes short.
As for the various series, I'm almost finished with TOS. I've seen 76 episodes out of 80. TNG just began airing on the SciFi Channel in June, so I've only seen 16 of those. Of 172 Voyager episodes, I've seen 133. As for Enterprise, I've seen 69 of 98.
A big thank you to Darrin, at The Science Fiction Fix. He recently wrote an article about the project - it's called Can One Man Watch Every Star Trek Episode In One Year? Good question.
